Had stayed at Aranya Hotel on 3rd night of my trip, even though i stay at another hotel on 1st night at hanoi, but Aranya Hotel provide me free luggage transfer service! Thanks Mr. Hung! The staff there is really nice, friendly. Hotel room is BIG enough, and clean. Nice international breakfast buffet.
Massage service of the hotel is not really recommended. Feel nothing after massage.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We booked the honeymoon suite as it was the first stop after getting married. When we arrived they lit candles, arranged rose petals in the shape of a heart and had a cake with "happy honeymoon" written on it. The hotel also provided a very welcome break from the heat and chaos of Hanoi. This meant we could head out for a few hours, return to the hotel to recharge, and then head out again.

Great place to stay, very central, small but beautiful rooms and fantastic staff. Small touches like fresh fruit, tea and coffee in rooms. Can highly recommend.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was perfectly clean. The provided room service was also very good. The position of the hotel is convenient also for visiting some of historical monuments as Temple Van Mieu or Temple Ngoc Son at the Hoan Kiem Lake.
The room did not have soundproof windows although the info at Booked.net claimed it. The hotel is relatively quite for those who don't mind voices of the people speaking in the corridor.

SIMPLY WONDERFUL!!! Great location, a new building in the old quarters. We were warmly greeted by Mr N Q Cuong and the staff, promptly given a map of the area and shown places of interest. Our room was on the third floor, with a window onto the inner courtyard, very quiet, could not hear any street noise, which is an achievement in a city of 7'000'000 people as Hanoi. The room is extremely well appointed, the air conditioning was also quiet, which guaranteed a good night sleep. Good exhaust fan in the ensuite, no foggy mirror! Buffet breakfast with soft music on the top seventh floor overlooking the city, was fresh, tasty and big on choices. We left our two suitcases in storage for four days whilst going to Sapa. The staff adviced us to take the minimum for easier storage in the sleeper train. That was the best advice ever! We only took our hand luggage, with change of clothes and toiletries stuffed in. Mr Cuong organised and paid for a taxi to take us to the railway station. We were accompanied by one of the porters, who stayed with us until we were in our cabin. Back from Sapa, we were able to check in early morning. At the end of our stay, we asked for a taxi, and were offered the hotel's private car (for the same fee as the taxi). Mr Cuong and two other staff members came outside to say goodbye. It was like saying goodbye to friends. We stayed in five different cities during our holiday in Vietnam. The Aranya Hotel was by far the best.
Faultless!

Very friendly and helpful staff, great location, comfortable clean rooms.
It was a bit loud - the noise of other guests in the room was somewhat disruptive
